Regional Leadership
Richard & Sarah Alawaye | Deysi Oguagha
Richard and Sarah Alawaye serve as Evangelist and Women’s Ministry Leader for the Brooklyn Region of the New York City Church of Christ. They have served all over Africa, in Atlanta, GA, and in Corpus Christi, TX.
They have been married for over 30 years and have two adult daughters who are Christians and members of the Boston Church of Christ
Richard is the Author of “According to your Faith.”
Deysi Oguagha was converted in the Brooklyn Region of the NYCCOC in 1986. She has served in the full time ministry for over 34 years. Along with her late husband Onyechi Oguagha, they led several churches in Africa. Upon their return to the US, she returned to her beloved Brooklyn to serve as a Women’s Ministry leader. Now as a widow and mother of 3 adult children and grandmother of 3, she continues to serve where she started her spiritual journey, Brooklyn.
